Kevin Marr, Senior Pastor

Pastor Kevin is only the fourth senior pastor in the Faith’s forty-year history.   He is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and has served three churches in north and central Mississippi for the last twenty-five years. He is a graduate of Crichton College in Memphis and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary where he was recognized as the Valedictorian of his graduating class.


Kevin and his wife, Jill, have been married for twenty-eight years and have two incredible kids, Kati and Connor.  They love to work together as a couple and as a family to maximize their potential in ministry.  Kati is pursuing a journalism degree at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Virginia.  Her passion is creating Christian media content.  Connor, a replica of his father, loves Taekwondo and earned his first-degree Black Belt at the age of twelve.  He is homeschooled and is actively involved in both soccer and basketball at a local Christian school.   When not working, Pastor Kevin loves to watch and play all kinds of sports, read, and spend quality time with family.

Elaine Angleberger, Faith Preschool Coordinator

Elaine Angleberger has served on staff as pre-school director at Faith since September 2018 and has been a member since 1990.Prior to joining the staff, Elaine served as the volunteer preschool director for 10 years. Previously, she served at South End Baptist Church Pre-school Dept from 1976 to 1990. Elaine has been married to her husband, Steve, since 1967. The couple has one grown daughter, Jen Osborne, and a grown grandson Devin. Elaine owned and operated Dandelion Christian Child Care from 1976-2006. She was also a certified In-home Caregiver.

 

Elaine received an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and is certified in infant and children as well as adult CPR. Serving with Southern Baptist Disaster Relief since 2008, she is a trained Chaplin. Volunteering also on mass feeding units, administration and laundry.   She also has ten years of deployment for Disaster Child Care through Church of Brethren.  In her free time, Elaine participates in State and National Senior Olympics. In the 2023 Pittsburg National Olympics, she won three metals in Cornhole while representing Maryland along with 763 other athletes. In the summer of 2023 she volunteered with the Banquet Network which sponsored “Everyone Belongs Camp”. She engaged with special needs children, youth and adults and felt it was a great experience.Elaine oversees the pre-school department consisting of 36 adult volunteers all of whom are greatly appreciated.   Each week Elaine records a lesson related Bible Story from the teaching material.
